I don’t know why other people make songs. I just want to show you how my life feels.

here are my first 11. I recorded all of them in my room at home last year.

this is the order in which I imagined the songs would be heard. I hope you will click through some time and listen to them this way.

  1. main drag
  2. moon words
  3. lovesong from a gas station
  4. kerry
  5. banks
  6. disco
  7. deKalb
  8. courts
  9. rides
  10. snowfall
  11. don’t tell me

  3. I love that you made a list of the order you imagined them to play in. I’ll have to listen on my way home after vacation. 🙂

  4. Memory Lane. So good to hear them again in the order of your choice. As said by Darcy. That voice. But also the personal stories interwoven in the lyrics and the haunting tunes that bring both voice and lyrics together. So good when a collective of older songs can be played one after the other like this. Cheers for these cookie.

    1. hi Gray. I suppose when I look at them all together in this order they add up to the story of my life so far. thank you.

  5. Wonderful! I look forward to listening over the next few days. If you were to give this collection an album name, what would it be? 🎶🙏🏻

    1. 🤔 maybe just my name, or the title of one of the songs, rides. or maybe Abbey Road … no wait, that one’s taken. 🙃

  6. Nice batch of work in these 11 songs. I’m often fond of the around 2-minute-length song, and all this work is in that area. On first listen to the whole batch tonight I think “Kerry” may be my initial favorite — I love the ending lines on it — but several others caught my ear as worth listening to again.

      1. I’m sorry to hear that. 😦 You’re anything but an NPC. You’re the coolest person in any reality. I’m glad you have been talking to someone about it. ❤️
