A music writing focus which can also be called ‘a break’ is fabulous. Perfect choice cookie. The blog? I do admire your way of expressing so succinctly, richly and wisely. I have been looking forward to some of your future songs. And of course, I understand that songs weave their own timelines to completion and realising reality. It is the process that writing gives with its gentle to dynamic scenarios. Writing a song with a bit of rock and roll alongside a ballad or two. Songwriting hey! I could never be disappointed. Listening to any songs? Songs are either instant melody and hooks. Or can take time to grow and become favourites with repeated listenings. Some singers can own any song simply with the way their voice presents too. That’ll be your voice cookie. Songs are lovely little, individually unique, presentations and I always accept them all for what they offer.
So, it’s great that you are going to chill with this ‘break’ and enjoy the processes. As said, songs like to weave their own short to long time patterns to where and when they feel complete. All the best cookie.
